Who We Are

Associated Property Management was formed officially in June 1989, to engage in construction, development, and property management of closely held commercial real estate, by George W. Stone, Sr. Mr. Stone was a generous supporter of the community as evidenced by continued support of Baltimore area Hospitals, Hospice, and other worthy Charities.

Mr. Stone’s career started as a carpenter and he worked his way to forming his own construction company in his late 20’s. In 1974 he decided to expand into the commercial real estate business and built his first office building. Over the next 30 years he continued with his commercial holdings, both leasing and managing them in-house through Associated Property Management. His endeavors took him around the greater Baltimore area, but the current portfolio is contained in Anne Arundel County.

In the early years, his daughter and two sons were involved in the day-to-day business activities. Today, Associated Property Management is manned by employees that have been with the company for many years and possess a wealth of knowledge about the business. Our team is proud of our ability to maintain of Mr. Stone’s commitment to excellence.

Unfortunately we lost Mr. Stone in 2006, but the tradition continues. We have close to 750,000 sq. ft. of commercial buildings, made up of office, retail, warehouse and flex space. All the staff was trained by the “best” and continue to follow his tradition of keeping well maintained, occupied buildings with providing prompt courteous service to our tenants.

Our Team

Charles Snyder, President

Charlie Snyder has been an integral part of APM since its inception as a member of the Ownership Group. His negotiation skills coupled with his knowledge of the buildings and grasp of construction costs provide Charlie with the skills necessary to run APM efficiently with an eye toward capital improvements, maintenance and beautification of our portfolio of properties. Charlie is a hands-on manager and likes to be involved in all facets of the business. He’s always willing to lend his expertise to any situation to assist the staff in accomplishing their goals.

Kayla Hertz

Kayla began her journey with APM in the maintenance department starting in September of 2014. Quickly she has become a favorite among the tenants as she strives to provide the best customer service. In conjunction with our maintenance men in the field, all incoming calls are distributed and executed through Kayla in a timely and effective manner. All of our maintenance is handled in house, so there are no back logs of calls or waiting for an appointment. You call and we take care of it! Along with maintenance, Kayla is also one of the two leasing agents for APM. Her properties include Annapolis, Millersville, Pasadena & Hanover. Stephanie Snyder

Stephanie has been with APM since 2018 and comes with a strong background in all facets of real estate.  As a leasing agent with APM, she is a capable negotiator with the ability to work around obstacles to ensure all avenues are explored in the process of placing potential tenants.  Stephanie is eager to assist all potential tenants and current tenants in realizing their professional space goals.

Rhonda Dunmyer

Rhonda has been the Accounting Manager for APM since November of 1999. As the accounting manager she is in charge of collecting and processing all of the tenant’s payments and accounts in house. She also handles all of the accounts payable for our many vendors.
